Open Access policy

Vestnik KazNMU provides immediate, free-to-read online access to all published articles. Full-text content is available on the journal’s website without subscription or access fees.

1. Open Access and Reader Access

1.1 All articles are available online immediately upon publication through the journal’s website and may be read in full free of charge.

1.2 Effective from Issue 1 (2026), all newly published articles in Vestnik KazNMU are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.

2. Article Processing Charges (APCs), Waivers, and Payment Terms

2.1 The journal applies article processing charges (APCs) in accordance with the official Price List, effective from Issue 3, 2025.

2.2 Waivers or discounts may be granted to certain categories of authors, as specified in the official Price List.

2.3 APCs are payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

2.4 Early payment is not permitted and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

3. Licensing and Usage Rights

3.1 Copyright and licensing terms are described in the journal’s Copyright Policy.

4. Editorial Independence and Transparency

4.1 Peer review and editorial decision-making are conducted independently of any payments. APCs, where applicable, are charged only after acceptance and do not affect editorial evaluation.

4.2 The journal maintains editorial independence and follows the principles of publication ethics.

5. Archiving, DOI, and Long-Term Availability

5.1 All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref.

5.2 The journal maintains an online archive of published issues and takes reasonable measures to ensure the long-term availability and preservation of published content through the journal archive and secure backup systems.
