Indexing and Abstracting
Vestnik KazNMU is committed to enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and international dissemination of the research it publishes. To support this objective, the journal adheres to recognized standards of indexing, citation, and digital identification of scholarly publications.
1. Current Indexing and Registration
1.1 The journal is indexed in several national and international scientific information systems and library databases, including RSCI, eLIBRARY.ru, CyberLeninka, and Google Scholar, as well as other regional bibliographic and academic information resources.
1.2 Vestnik KazNMU is included in the List of Scientific Publications Recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CQASHE) (Second List).
The journal has been included in this list since July 2025, in accordance with Order No. 1219 dated 18 July 2025.
1.3 All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through the Crossref registration agency, ensuring permanent identification, reliable citation, and stable online accessibility of scholarly publications.
2. Expansion of International Visibility
The editorial board continuously works to expand the journal’s presence in recognized international indexing and abstracting systems in order to increase the accessibility, discoverability, and citation impact of published research.
As part of this strategy, the journal is considering applications for inclusion in the following international databases and platforms:
2.1 Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) - an international directory of high-quality open access journals.
2.2 Scilit - an international database of scholarly publications that enhances the discoverability of scientific research.
2.3 Scopus (Elsevier) - one of the leading international abstracting and citation databases for peer-reviewed literature.
2.4 Web of Science (Clarivate) - a global platform for indexing scientific journals and tracking citation impact.
Information about inclusion in additional databases and platforms will be published on the journal’s official website following formal confirmation by the respective indexing services.
