Copyright, Licensing, and Archiving Policy

Vestnik KazNMU is committed to ensuring transparency, safeguarding authors’ rights, and maintaining the permanent accessibility of published research.

  1. Copyright and Licensing

 

1.1 Authors publishing in Vestnik KazNMU retain copyright to their articles.


1.2 Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant Vestnik KazNMU the non-exclusive right of first publication.


1.3 Effective from Issue 1 (2026), all newly published articles in Vestnik KazNMU are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.


1.4 This license permits use, distribution, reproduction, sharing, adaptation, remixing, and commercial reuse of the published material, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly credited, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.


1.5 Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party material included in their manuscripts where such material is not covered by the article’s license.

2. Permissions and Reuse

2.1 Authors may share, deposit, and reuse their articles immediately upon publication. Self-archiving is permitted without embargo.


2.2 Acceptable repositories and platforms include institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, and personal or professional websites.


2.3 Third parties may reuse published content under the CC BY 4.0 license, provided that appropriate attribution is given.

3. Archiving and Digital Preservation

3.1 Every article published in Vestnik KazNMU is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, ensuring stable citation and discoverability.


3.2 The final published version of record is preserved in the official digital archive of Vestnik KazNMU, maintained by the publisher.


3.3 Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published PDF in institutional or subject repositories together with the full citation and DOI link.


3.4 The journal takes reasonable measures to ensure the long-term accessibility, preservation, and citability of all published content through its online archive and secure backup systems.
